I am so inspired by young people in general, but especially all the young girls I see who are charting their own course. You truly are the future. If I may, Id like to encourage you to keep working to follow your dreams.
Don’t fall captive to your thoughts, unless they are positive ones.
Know yourself.
Know the difference between Sacrifice and Compromise. Never sacrifice anything that is YOU for anyone.
Never confuse Compassion for Responsibility…just because you are empathetic to someone, doesnt mean you have to fix them.
Set your standards high, and remember they are yours. They determine your market value and help you to separate yourself from individuals who arent your match, in all aspects of life.
Remember that there is always support for you, and each of you has a special and uniquely designed space in this world…so wake up each day and shine, as you were intended in your own special way.
Tip from 2BD- If your shoes are half a size too small, place a sealed sandwich baggie filled about 1/4 of the way up with water inside the shoe and stick them in the freezer. When the water freezes and turns to ice, it will expand a little bit and stretch the shoe.
I’m told this works best for leather, but you can get some stretch in other kinds of shoes too.

It is my duty to save you all from modern slavery, by presenting to you your life’s trajectory. Tradition is around not because it’s “right” but because it’s “easy”. Remember if the right choice was easy, everyone would be doing the right thing. So do what everyone else is NOT, because most people are wrong. Because this whole decaying away one minute at a time, all while doing stuff you don’t even really want to do- it’s not for me and if you want to really live, it shouldn’t be for you either. Give me freedom or give me death, please.
“There seems to be an inborn drive in all human beings not to live in a steady emotional state, which would suggest that such a state is not tolerable to most people. Why else would someone succumb to the attractions of romantic love more than once? Didn’t they learn their lesson the first time or the tenth time or the twentieth time? And it’s the same old lesson: everything in this life—I repeat, everything—is more trouble than it’s worth. And simply being alive is the basic trouble. This is something that is more recognized in Eastern societies than in the West. There’s a minor tradition in Greek philosophy that instructs us to seek a state of equanimity rather than one of ecstasy, but it never really caught on for obvious reasons. Buddhism advises its practitioners not to seek highs or lows but to follow a middle path to personal salvation from the painful cravings of the average sensual life, which is why it was pretty much reviled by the masses and mutated into forms more suited to human drives and desires. It seems evident that very few people can simply sit still. Children spin in circles until they collapse with dizziness.”
